Where Is My Mind?

Ever found yourself pondering, "Where is my mind?" as you step into a room with a vague purpose, struggling to recall the reason? Perhaps you've committed a work oopsie, perplexed at how a routine task became a head-scratcher. These moments prompt reflection on our mental state. It's during such times that hitting the brakes, easing off the accelerator, and embracing a moment of stillness become crucial. Taking just 15 minutes to ground ourselves in the present can be transformative. Personally, I've started rising a bit earlier, savoring a few moments of silence with my coffee. It's a solo venture, a time to breathe deeply, steering clear of complex thoughts. Any stray ideas are acknowledged and set aside for later consideration. This is my dedicated time to concentrate, fostering intentionality. It's about directing focus towards silence and cultivating gratitude.

Finding time for true silence and stillness can be challenging, requiring dedicated practice. I invite you to embark on this practice today and share your experiences. Let me know how you are doing and whether you are using any tools to help you stay in the present moment, even if only for a brief two minutes. Some ideas are mindful journals, breath work, a walk out in nature or yoga.

You can meet me LIVE on my App, Studio 11 Style every Monday evening at 7 pm where I share more than new clothes. On a Scale from 1 to 10- You’re an 11.
